Aprilia SXR 125 Review Image Gallery

We recently got our hands on the Aprilia SXR 125. While you can read all about our experience with the scooter in our expert reviews section, here we bring to you all details of the Aprilia SXR 125 through this image gallery.

Rear View

The Aprilia SXR 125 looks similar to its sibling- the SXR 160. And we are not complaining. Its ‘Cross- Maxi’ bodystyle as Aprilia calls it helps it stand apart from the rest of the scooters in the market with its blend of maxi and sporty styling.

Right Side View

It gets a tall windscreen with a full-LED headlamp setup underneath that resembles the ones on the Aprilia RS660. Whereas the long tail section with a sporty-looking LED tail lamp complete the SXR 125’s look.

TFT Touchscreen Instrument Cluster

Apart from the LED lighting, Aprilia has decked the SXR 125 modestly. It gets an LCD instrument cluster that is well laid out. It can also be connected to a Bluetooth module that is offered as an accessory. However, doesn't give display navigation, message, or call notifications.

Glove Box

As for practicality, you get a large, 21-litre underseat storage, and a lockable glovebox that has two compartments inside. The Aprilia SXR 125’s USB charging port is also situated here.

Right Side View

Now, the hardware is the same as the one on the SXR 160 and consists of 12inch alloy wheels wrapped in 120/70 section tyres at both ends. Even other components like the telescopic forks, monoshock, as well as the disc-drum brake setup are the same on both SXRs.

Engine From Left

However, the SXR 125 uses a smaller 124.45cc, three-valve engine that churns out 9.38bhp and 9.2Nm. This is the same motor that powers the sportier SR 125 but with a different state of tune.

Left Front Three Quarter

As for our verdict, the Aprilia SXR 125 feels like a premium scooter that is exotic and special. Nonetheless, the SXR 125 also offers practicality on the table along with some useful features. And then again, even with an engine smaller than the SXR 160, it is  fun to ride and comes with amazing handling dynamics.
