Aprilia will commence its title defence at the Africa Eco Race 2025, by participating in the rally with the Tuareg 660 Rally. The motorcycle was showcased at EICMA 2024.
The Africa Eco Race is divided into 12 stages. It will start at Tangier on December 31 and end on January 12 at the legendary Lac Rose in Dakar. The Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally is developed in collaboration with the Guareschi brothers’ GCorse. The motorcycle features performance upgrades such as larger 52mm throttle bodies and an updated ECU. It also gets lighter tube-type spoke wheels for less gyroscopic effect and improved agility.
The Tuareg 660 Rally gets an SC-Project titanium exhaust for enhanced performance, while the suspension components have also been tweaked. The fully adjustable Kayaba front suspension offers a wheel travel of 240mm. It has a seat height of 880mm.
