- Tuono 1100 spotted with winglets
- Being tested in Imola
- Likely to be unveiled this year end
Aprilia is working on upgrading its Tuono 1100, one of the best streetfighters ever made, for 2021. The Ducati Streetfighter rival could see some major changes for New Year.
According to the leaked pictures, a half camouflaged version of the Tuono 1100 was spotted at Imola a few days ago. The pictures reveal the presence of biplane-style winglets on the motorcycle which makes us believe that the upcoming Tuono is likely to get this package. The winglets have been attached on the front fairing and not on the sides as seen on the RSV4.
There’s a slight possibility of this bike being just at track only motorcycle as the spotted bike has lot of carbon fibre parts and misses out on headlight and turn indicators. We’ll know more about this motorcycle later this year when most of the European brands reveal their new year line-up.
