The Aprilia Tuono 150 was displayed along with the RS150 at the 2018 Auto Expo. While there is no confirmed launch timeline, we can expect the Tuono 150 to be here sometime next year priced at Rs 1.2 lakh to Rs 1.3 lakh. We have compiled a detailed photo gallery of the Tuono 150, here it is-
The bike derives its styling cues and name from its bigger sibling, the Tuono V4 1100 which is available in India.
The Tuono 150 gets an aggressive streetfighter stance with a single-piece seat and raised tail section for a sporty appeal.
It is powered by a 150cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 18bhp and 14Nm of torque mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The Tuono 150 rides on 17-inch wheels with 40mm inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear.
Stopping power for the bike comes from a 300mm disc up front and a 218mm disc at the rear.
The bike was displayed with a quickshifter, ABS and inverted forks, although it is likely to miss out on these to be priced competitively.
Once launched, the bike will directly rival the Yamaha FZ25 and the KTM 200 Duke in India.
