-New street naked motorcycle
-Based on the Aprilia 457
-457cc parallel-twin makes 46.9bhp and 43.5Nm
The Aprilia Tuono 457 street naked motorcycle is expected to be launched in India in January 2025. The street naked bike was officially unveiled at EICMA last month and is based on the Aprilia RS457.
The Tuono 457 while based on the RS457, bears a different design. From the LED headlight with the inset DRLs, to the large fuel tank and the slim rear, the Tuono 457 is quite the street naked. What adds to the effect is the exposed aluminium, twin-spar frame and tank extensions.
A 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine powers the bike. It develops 46.9bhp and 43.5Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and might come with an optional quickshifter.
As for the chassis, the frame is suspended by a USD fork and monoshock. Meanwhile, braking is taken care of by a disc brake at the front and rear.
In terms of features, the Tuono 457 is pretty well-equipped. It has all-LED lights, traction control, ride modes, ABS and a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.
Once launched, it will rival the KTM 390 Duke, Yamaha MT-03, and BMW G 310 R
