The Aprilia Tuono 457 has finally been revealed at the EICMA 2024. As the name suggests, this is the street naked version of the Aprilia RS 457. Here is a look at the bike through images taken at the Aprilia stall at the EICMA.
The design of the Tuono 457 is markedly different from its supersport sibling. The headlight cowl with its inset LED DRL and the stacked headlight gives it a striking face. Not to mention the winglets under the headlight.
The Tuono’s fuel tank looks big and muscular while keeping the frame exposed in typical street naked fashion. Even the side panels complement the design of the bike. The tail section, meanwhile, is similar to the one on the Aprilia RS 457.
The bike is powered by a 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine that makes 46.9bhp at 9,400rpm and 43.5Nm at 6,700rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
In terms of features, the bike gets all-LED lights and a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The bike also gets a comprehensive safety suite that includes traction control, three ride modes and dual-channel ABS.
The frame of the bike is suspended by a preload adjustable USD fork and a pre load adjustable monoshock. It rides on 17-inch wheels shod with Eurogrip Protorq Extreme tyres. Braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm disc with a ByBre radial caliper at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear with a ByBre caliper.
Aprilia is likely to showcase the Tuono 457 at the India Bike Week (IBW) in December, followed by the price announcement.
