Aprilia has teased the Tuono 457 on the web, and its debut could be around the corner. The bike had been in the pipeline after the RS457 managed to attract a lot of eyeballs. Now, the first teaser of the Tuono has been released, and here is what we expect from the upcoming Aprilia naked motorcycle.
Design
Similar to the larger Tuono V4, we expect the Tuono 457 to get sharp and youthful styling. Its bodywork will be slightly shared with the 457 - in terms of the split headlight, muscular fuel tank, and fairing, but the ergonomics will be notably different since the Tuono is a naked motorcycle. It is likely to get a tubular handlebar thereby offering a slightly upright rider stance than the RS.
Features
Apart from the LED headlight, the Tuono 457 will probably get the same TFT, engine maps, ABS, traction control and a quickshifter as well. You can also expect it to get smartphone connectivity too.
Engine
Powering the Aprilia Tuono 457 will be the same 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. It makes 46.9bhp and 43.5Nm in the RS and the Tuono too will get the same output figures. The motor will be linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Hardware
We expect the Tuono 457 to get preload adjustable front forks and a monoshock along with a single disc at both ends. These will be mounted on 17-inch alloys wrapped in road-biased tyres.
Price
Aprilia could unveil the Tuono 457 at the EICMA this year followed by its debut in India at the India Bike Week 2024.
