Piaggio has unveiled the MY2018 updates for its most popular scooter, the Aprilia SR 150. The SR 150 Carbon will join the ranks as a new variant, while the existing standard and Race variants will be launched with new paint schemes.
The regular SR 150 will be available in a new green paint scheme. The SR 150 Race will also feature a new paint scheme. It still gets the same racing colours, although the livery is now different and looks more tasteful than the outgoing model. The tail section gets a ‘54’ decal, which is the number of world titles the brand has won so far. Both of these get a revised instrument cluster, with an analogue speedometer and a digital display.
The SR 150 Carbon is a new variant, which as the name suggests, features faux-carbon fibre finish on the front apron and the side panels. It also gets the new instrument cluster. We expect these updates to be introduced over the next few weeks. Piaggio has also launched a new mobile connectivity app for its scooters.
