Aprilia has unveiled their most advanced motorcycle – the RSV4 R FW-GP. It has come from the company’s special ‘Factory Works’ program and is available for customers to buy.
The company says the idea behind this motorcycle was to give the buyers a motorcycle that’s close to their 2015 MotoGP bike – the RS-GP 15. The V4 motor generates close to 250bhp, thanks to the usage of pneumatic valves that helps in generating less heat as compared to mechanical valve train. The Akrapovic full-exhaust system has also helped in the power increase. The company has fitted the motorcycle with Ohlins suspension and Brembo monoblock calipers. The bodywork is made of carbon fibre to keep the bike as light as possible.
The buyers of the FW-GP will get special services from the Aprilia Racing team who will deliver the bike. The buyer will also get a special track day invitation by the company where a crew of engineers will be made available to the rider to tailor the bike's settings for the owner's riding style. Other than these special services, the Italian maker will provide an engineer every time the bike is ridden and a paddock pass for a MotoGP race weekend.
While the company hasn’t revealed the price of this motorcycle yet, expect it to be ridiculously expensive, just like the Honda RC213V-S. But just like other expensive motorcycles, this Aprilia will also find some rich owners.
