British manufacturer Ariel has once again revealed another masterpiece - the new Ace R. This R edition will have limited production run of just 10 units.
The company worked with MJW –an engine tuning company to boost the power of the 1237cc V engine. This revised engine now generates 210bhp – 37bhp more than the standard model. The peak torque too, has been increased to 142Nm. Ariel says that the Ace R is lightest and latest frame from the company. It’s a black pearl finished aluminium frame. The bodywork also has a bit of carbon fibre to keep the weight in check.
The suspension duties of the Ace R are taken care of by Ohlins setup. It also got five-spoke carbon-fibre wheels, which are 50 per cent lighter than the wheels on the lower-spec Ariel Ace.
This limited edition Ariel Ace R doesn’t come cheap. This bike has been priced at £49,995 (Rs 42.31 lakh).
