Ather Energy has announced a month-long program that offers special benefits, financing options, and exchange schemes to its customers. Christened as the Ather Electric December, this program aims at attracting new buyers and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
Under this limited-period offer, Ather Energy is offering an extended battery warranty at just Re 1, which otherwise is worth Rs 6,999. This will allow customers to get an additional two years warranty (over and above the manufacturer’s warranty of three years), thus taking the coverage period to five years. This is an introductory and limited-period offer that will only be applicable to customers purchasing the Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus in December 2022.
Further, Ather Energy has introduced a financing scheme in partnership with IDFC Bank. Through this scheme, it is offering a 48-month tenure to enable consumers to own an Ather scooter. The down payment is five per cent while the interest rate stands at 8.5 per cent. Moreover, the company has also announced a zero processing fee and instant loan approvals under this financing scheme.
Ather has also introduced an exchange program that will enable customers to trade in their petrol scooters. Then, customers can adjust the trade-in value against their down payment for the Ather 450X. These buyers will get an exchange value bonus of Rs 4,000 and an immediate on-the-spot valuation. Lastly, Ather is providing free access to Ather Grid till 31 December, 2023 to the customers purchasing the 450X and 450 Plus this month.
In other updates, Ather Energy has launched its second manufacturing facility in Hosur which has a production capacity to shell out 4,20,000 units per annum. Ather Energy plans to strengthen its retail operations by expanding to new markets with around 150 Experience Centers in 100 cities by March 2023.
