Ather Energy has reduced the price of the 450S- its most affordable model in India.
Now, the base variant of the Ather 450S is priced at Rs 97,000 ex-showroom, Delhi and Rs 1.09 lakh, ex-showroom, Bengaluru. While this is a Rs 20,000 price cut from the earlier pricing, the top-spec 450S with Pro pack gets a Rs 25,000 cut and now costs Rs 1.19 lakh, ex-showroom. This puts the 450S at a big advantage when it comes to pricing since the Bajaj Chetak costs Rs 1.15 lakh and the TVS iQube is priced at Rs 1.23 lakh. It is only slightly more expensive than the Ola S1 X which is the brand’s most affordable model at Rs 99,999, ex-showroom.
However, despite the price cut, the electric scooter remains the same. It uses a 2.9kWh battery with a 5.4kW motor that offers a top speed of 90kmph and a 115km range. The charging time, according to Ather is eight hours and 36 minutes. As for features, it comes with the new DeepView display and smartphone connectivity as well as LED lighting among other offerings.
