Ather 450X Gen 3: What else can you buy?

Ather Energy recently launched the 450X Gen 3 in India. It’s the flagship offering from the Bengaluru-based bikemaker and now boasts a higher range and more features as well. Not to mention, the updates have also brought in a price for the Ather 450X Gen 3 and it now retails at Rs 1,55,657 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). Let’s see what other options you have in the same price range.  

TVS Ronin  

TVS recently launched the Ronin in India at Rs 1,49,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). It’s the latest offering from the Hosur-based manufacturer and a completely new one. It’s powered by a 226cc single-cylinder motor that dishes out 20 bhp and 19.93 Nm. On the feature front, it gets LED illumination and an offset instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Yamaha MT-15 Ver 2.0

Yamaha updated the MT-15 recently with new features and paint schemes. It now retails at Rs 1,64,400 (ex-showroom Delhi) and features a liquid-cooled 155cc single-cylinder motor with VVA. The output is rated at 18.14 bhp and 14.1 Nm. The latest updates include USD front forks and a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. Braking hardware for the MT-15 Ver 2.0 comprises a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS. 

Bajaj Pulsar F250  

Bajaj Pulsar F250 and Pulsar N250 get expensive in India

Another offering in the same price range that you can consider is the Bajaj Pulsar F250 with an asking price of Rs 1,49,978 (ex-showroom Delhi). Powering the Pulsar F250 is a 249cc single cylinder motor developing 24.1bhp and 21.5Nm. It features LED illumination and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Bajaj has equipped the F250 with conventional forks and a monoshock for the suspension hardware and a single disc at both ends for braking.  

Honda CB 200X  

Honda Unicorn, X-Blade, Hornet 2.0, and CB200X get expensive in India

The Honda CB200X retails at Rs 1,47,535 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is powered by 184.4cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It belts out 17 bhp and 16.1 Nm and gets LED illumination and a fully digital instrument console as well. The CB200X gets ADV-like attire with its smoked visor and tall stance. For the suspension setup, it gets USD front forks and a monoshock. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a front and rear disc with ABS.  

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is one of the most popular and feature motorcycles you can buy today. It’s powered by a 197.75cc single-cylinder motor and dishes out 20.54 bhp and 17.25 Nm. On the feature front, you get a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and a fully adjustable suspension setup as well. Not to mention, it also gets dual-channel ABS.
