Ather Energy has released its 13th OTA (Over the Air) update, the Atherstack Atom. The new update enables the Bluetooth based music and call feature on the Ather 450X. Through this new feature, Ather 450X can pair the scooter’s dashboard with their smartphones. The dashboard will show album art, the name of the song, and the artist in the display.
Rider can change track, or play/pause the music when the vehicle is stationary. The feature supports all popular music streaming and podcast services. The rider can also accept/reject the call on the touchscreen dashboard or through a combination of the physical switches. Apart from the access to the music and calls, this new update also includes the revamped version of the Ather App. The updated app has been built from scratch to provide users with a clean, intuitive interface.
The company is now working towards launching a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) for its electric scooters.
