Ather commenced the deliveries for the Rizta electric scooter earlier this month. Now, the brand has delivered 1,000 units of the Rizta across the country in a day. Of this, 501 units were delivered in Maharashtra and the remaining numbers spread across Indore, Jaipur, and the southern region. Ather Energy CEO, Tarun Mehta posted the same on his social media handles.
Speaking of the Rizta, it is the first family-oriented offering from Ather and sports a completely different design compared to the 450 lineup. The Rizta is large in proportions and also more spacious owing to its utility-oriented approach. The bodywork is more on the conservative front with relatively less cuts, creases, and sharp angles than its siblings.
Ather offers the Rizta in two different variants and three battery options. The variants are called S and Z. Here, the S trim gets a 2.9kWh battery whereas the the Z can be purchased with a 2.9kWh and a 3.7kWh battery option.
The two differ in terms of features and the asking price as well. The Ather Rizta S costs Rs. 1.10 lakh whereas the Rizta Z with the smaller battery retails at Rs. 1.25 lakh and the one with 3.7kWh is priced at Rs. 1.45 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
