Ather Energy has inaugurated a new retail outlet in Ahmedabad which is the Bangalore-based company’s fourth showroom in India. The residents of the city can book test ride slots on Ather’s official website before visiting the showroom. Moreover, the visitors can get up close with the key components of the scooter, understand and experience its features and see a naked scooter to learn about its every aspect. This new showroom will also take care of service support.
Ather had started its retail operations in 2018 by opening its first outlet in Bangalore. This was followed by the inauguration of its second showroom in Chennai and third in Mumbai. Now, owing to the impressive response received from the people of Gujarat for its new 450X, Ather will be opening its next experience centre in Surat in the second quarter of this year.
Ather’s new 450X is the updated model of the now-discontinued 450. It is undoubtedly the quickest and the most feature-packaged electric scooter one can buy in India. It can go from 0 to 40kmph of speed in 3.3 seconds in its new Warp mode. It also has three other riding modes including Eco, Ride and Sport. The 450X comes equipped with a seven-inch touchscreen console which gets Bluetooth-connectivity and a 4G SIM card for managing phone calls and music. Other features available on this screen are navigation, on-board diagnostics, over-the-air updates, auto-indicator off and guide-me-home lights.
The Ather 450X is available in three colours – Grey, Green and White and Series 1 limited edition model. In Ahmedabad, the ex-showroom price of the 450X is Rs 1,61,426 and Rs 1,42,416 for the Ather 450 Plus.
