Ather Energy has sold a total of 2042 electric scooters in February. The company claims that it has grown by 140 per cent year-on-year.
The company currently sells two variants – the Ather 450 Plus and the Ather 450X. The latter offers more power, torque, riding range and the best fast charging options. However, the 450X demands a premium of almost Rs 19,000.
Recently, the Bengaluru-based company signed a MoU with the Govt of Karnataka to install 1000 charging grids across the state. We can expect the company to make such moves with more state governments considering the fact that Ather is opening showrooms in multiple cities.
