- Halo is possibly a smart helmet
- New Ather Rizta to also be unveiled at the event
The Ather Community Day is slated to be held on 6 April and among a slew of unveils and launches, the company will showcase the Halo accessory. As per the announcement on social media, the Ather Halo is a smart accessory and could possibly be a smart helmet. It is expected to feature Bluetooth connectivity and a heads up display. This could show navigation directions among other information like the scooter’s speed.
This sci-fi accessory won’t come cheap by the looks of it but will be an ultra-cool helmet. Ather CEO Tarun Mehta also added that one lucky person will stand a chance to win the Halo at the Ather Community Day event.
Besides unveiling the Halo and a number of other accessories, Ather will also reveal the Rizta family electric scooter. The Rizta is being teased on a number of occasions on social media platforms where the company is highlighting the size of the scooter’s seat, indicating a spacious scooter. We expect the Rizta to be based on a new platform powered by a new motor and battery pack.
Ather will also launch its most comprehensive OTA update, the Atherstack 6. It is expected to include a new message on dashboard feature, new smartphone app and a proximity lock/unlock.
