Ather debuted a brand new scooter recently called the Rizta. It is the Bengaluru-based EV maker’s first family-oriented electric scooter and gets a completely new design compared to the 450 range that exists. But similar to its siblings, the Rizta also comes in multiple variants. So, here is an explanation of all.
Rizta S
This is the base model of the Rizta range and comes with a 2.9kWh battery linked to a 4.3kW motor. The setup offers 123km of maximum range and 80kmph top speed. Moreover, the Rizta S’ charging time is eight hours and thirty minutes.
Its features include an 8GB storage, 1GB RAM, and a seven-inch Deep View Display. If you opt for the Pro Package, the Rizta S also gets features like three ride modes – Zip and SmartEco – dashboard auto-brightness, AutoHold, guide-me-home lights, Fall Safe, call and music control and ESS. Then, there is the turn-by-turn navigation, tow and theft notification, push navigation, and Alexa.
The asking price for the Ather Rizta S is Rs. 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and Rs. 13,000 extra for the Pro Pack. The S trim has three colour options – Siachen White Mono, Deccan Grey Mono, and Pangong Blue Mono.
Rizta Z
Ather offers the Rizta Z with two battery options – 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh. The smaller battery pack offers the same range as the Rizta S but the larger one gets 160km. The top speed for the Rizta Z is also 80kmph. However, the larger battery pack’s charging time is six hours and ten minutes.
Ather has equipped the Rizta Z with a seven-inch TFT, 2GB RAM, and 16GB storage. While the Rizta Z gets all the extra features with the Pro Pack that the Rizta S gets, it also sports Magic Twist and Skid Control, document storage, ping my scooter, share live location, intercity trip planner, auto reply to calls, and WhatsApp preview.
The asking price for the Ather Z with the 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh battery pack is Rs. 1,24,999 and Rs. 1,44,999 (both, ex-showroom, Bengaluru), respectively. If you opt for the Pro Pack, then the Rizta Z 2.9kWh model demands Rs. 15,000 more while the larger battery pack model’s asking price increases by Rs. 20,000.
You can purchase the Rizta Z in seven colours – Siachen White Mono, Deccan Grey Mono, Pangong Blue Mono, Deccan Grey Duo, Cardamom Green Duo, Pangong Blue Duo, and Alphonso Yellow Duo.
