Ather Energy is readying its upcoming family-oriented electric scooter Rizta for launch in India. While the scooter will be unveiled at the Ather Community Day on 6 April, 2024, here’s everything we know so far about the Ather Rizta.
Styling
Compared to the 450X, the Ather Rizta will feature a completely new design, which will be contemporary and practical. It is expected to be underpinned by an all-new platform, which shall offer larger dimensions compared to the 450X. Thus, it is also expected to offer more space and comfort.
Features
In terms of features, it is safe to assume that it will come with all the bells and whistles of the Ather 450X. So, we can expect a fully digital touchscreen instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity, multiple ride modes, Google Maps navigation and more.
Specifications
As of now, Ather Energy is very tight-lipped about the specifications of the Rizta as the battery pack details, electric motor output and riding range aren’t known yet. That said, being a large family-oriented scooter, we expect the specifications to be better than the top-spec 450 Apex as the Ather Rizta will be the flagship offering from the company.
Launch Timeline and Pricing
While the official unveil is scheduled for 6 April, we expect the Ather Rizta to be launched in India around June 2024. As for its pricing, we expect it to cost around Rs 1.25 lakh to Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric scooter will rival the TVS iQube S and the Ola S1 Pro.
