-Customers need to pay Rs 999 to pre-book
-Might feature ABS
-Unveil on 6 April
The Ather Rizta is all set to be unveiled on April 6 and with just a few days to go, the company has announced the commencement of pre-bookings for the new electric scooter. Customers need to pay Rs 999 to reserve the Ather Rizta.
Another announcement made by Ather talks about a segment first anti-skid feature on the Rizta. This could be anti-lock brakes or ABS and is a welcome safety feature given the unpredictable nature of our roads.
The Rizta is the company’s first family scooter and Ather has been releasing a lot of information in bits and pieces on social media. The test scooters that were spotted show a fairly large EV that is likely to be much larger than the Ather 450X, its sporty electric scooter. Ather, in fact, has been highlighting the size and length of the seat to indicate enough space for two adults. This is visible in the images of the test scooter as well.
The design of the Rizta won’t be as sporty as the 450’s and is expected to be more inline with the tastes and preferences of a family-scooter buyer. Other highlights that we know of the Rizta includes LED illumination and a colour TFT display, possibly the same that we’ve seen on the 450X.
With the unveil and launch just around the corner, we wait to see what the Ather Rizta is all about and how it stands on comparison to competition such as the TVS iQube.
