The Rizta is Ather’s new family electric scooter which we rode recently. It impressed us on multiple fronts while some things left us wanting for more. You can read our detailed take on the electric scooter in our first ride review. As of now, let’s take a quick look at its key details along with some of its pictures.
Staying true to its family-oriented persona, the storage space on the Rizta is plenty. It offers a 34-litre underseat storage space while buyers can also opt for a 22-litre frunk.
On the tech front, a seven-inch TFT screen occupies the cockpit area which can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth and there’s Google Maps for navigation.
It comes with two riding modes – Smart Eco and Zip and the latter facilities it with a top speed of 80kmph which is lower than its sportier sibling, the 450X.
Other convenience-oriented features include auto hold, reverse mode, fall safe, emergency stop signal, and auto indicator cut-off.
It is powered by a 2.9kWh battery pack that is claimed to deliver a range of 123km on full charge. Those who wish to have a longer range can go for the 3.7kWh variant as well.
The Rizta weighs 119kg, has a seat height of 780mm, ground clearance of 165mm, and rides on 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends.
The prices of the Ather Rizta start from Rs. 1.12 lakh and go up to Rs. 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom).
