Ather Energy has introduced a new update for its Rizta Z electric scooter. The EV’s dashboard will now support as many as eight regional languages. The list will comprise - Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. That said, the update will first bring in Hindi and then follow the seven other languages.
This multi-language stack will be an OTA (Over-The-Air) update to the existing AtherStack for the Rizta Z electric scooters. Speaking more on the Rizta Z, it is Ather’s top-spec family-oriented scooter and is offered in two variants - 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh battery packs. The asking price for the former is set at Rs. 1,26,499 whereas the latter retails at Rs. 1,46,499 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Ather Rizta Z offers a 123km range with the smaller battery pack whereas the larger one gets 159km. The top speed for both is limited to 80kmph. Its list of features also includes LED illumination, a TFT, smartphone connectivity, Google Maps navigation, FallSafe alert, and more. If you opt for the Pro Pack, then the scooter also comes with additional features like Smart Eco and Zip, traction control, mobile charging, auto hold and reverse mode. But the Pro Pack will cost you about Rs. 20,000 more.
