Ather Energy recently widened its dealership reach in Maharashtra by inaugurating a new retail outlet in Thane. Located at Panch Pakhdi in Thane, this store has been established in associated with Jakhete Group and it will retail Ather’s both offerings, the 450X and the 450 Plus.
The company claims to have received a favourable response for its products in Maharashtra and that has been the driving force for the dealership expansion. The new outlet, which is also called the Ather Space, is aimed at educating visitors about the vehicle and providing them with a ‘holistic’ experience. While customers can directly visit the dealerships for test rides and purchase, they can also book test ride slots on the brand’s official website.
Ather has also been quite active in expanding the charging infrastructure in Maharashtra. It has installed over 60 charging grids in the state and around 22 of these are present in Mumbai itself. In the coming days, the company plans to install more charging points to tackle the range anxiety amongst EV users. It’s also worth noting that the company has already set up 350 charging points across 38 cities in India.
