- AE-29 Gets a 3.5kWh battery pack
- Top speed of 55kmph and range of 80 kilometres
Hero Electric has showcased a new line-up of scooters at the ongoing Auto Expo 2020.
Firstly, there’s the AE-29, which is an all-new scooter with a claimed top speed of 55kmph. Powered by a 1kW motor and a 3.5kWh battery pack, the AE-29 can be charged in four hours and has a range of 80 kilometres. The bikemaker says the AE-29 is IoT enabled and comes with features like Bluetooth connectivity, anti-theft smart lock, mobile charger, smartphone app, digital instrument cluster, walk assist and reversing.
Apart from this, in the high-speed segment, the company has also showcased AE-75 electric scooter in partnership with Sahara Evols. This electric scooter has a top speed of 45kmph and a range of 80 kilometres. Debuting in the low-speed segment is the AE-8 with a top speed of 25kmph and the same electric range of 80 kilometres.
Moreover, apart from the electric scooters, Hero Electric pavilion also had on display an all-new electric motorcycle and a three-wheeled trike.
