- Bajaj sales grow by 56 per cent
- Sold 1.81 lakh units in India
- Pulsar series to get new colours soon
Bajaj Auto has dispatched a total of 3.3 lakh two-wheelers in March 2021. An increase of 56 per cent from last year wherein the Pune-based manufacturer sold 2.10 lakh units.
Out of the March 2021 sales number, the Indian market accounted for 1.81 lakh units; an 84 per cent jump from the 98, 412 units sold in March 2020. On the other hand, Bajaj, which has a strong hold on export markets, dispatched 1.48 lakh two-wheelers last month as compared to the 1.12 lakh units sold overseas in March 2020.
However, Bajaj recorded degrowth of 9 per cent in its FY2021 sales and this can be attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdowns that followed. Nonetheless, to keep things fresh, the company is expected to launch new colour schemes for the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180, and Pulsar 220F in India soon.
