- Overall sales in domestic and export markets saw negative growth

Bajaj Auto has reported its sales numbers for June 2020. The Pune-based manufacturer recorded overall sales (two- and three-wheelers) of 2,78,097 units in June 2020 as against 4,04,624 units in the corresponding month last year.
In the domestic market, the manufacturer sold 1,51,189 units (two- and three-wheelers) in June 2020 as against 2,29,225 units in June 2019. Exports, too, witnessed negative growth. Bajaj Auto exported 1,26,908 units in June 2020. In comparison, the company exported 1,75,399 units in June 2019.
The total (domestic and exports) two-wheeler sales stood at 2,55,122 units in June 2020 as against 3,51,291 units in June 2019. Bajaj Auto registered 1,46,695 unit two-wheeler sales in the domestic market in June 2020 as against 1,99,340 units in June 2019.
The company has resumed retail and production operations in the Indian market. Last month, the company announced the launch of the Pulsar 125 BS6 Split Seat variant in the Indian market. Bajaj Auto will soon update its product portfolio with the launch of the Platina 100 ES disc brake version in the local market.
