- Bajaj sold a total of 3.32 lakh two-wheelers

Bajaj Auto has recorded a 7 per cent growth in total sales for February 2021. The Pune-based manufacturer sold 3.32 lakh two-wheelers last month as against 3.10 lakh units in Feb’2020.
Out of the total sales, Bajaj witnessed marginal growth in the Indian market going from a sale of 1.46 lakh motorcycles and scooters in February 2020 to 1.48 lakh units in the same time this year. However, the export market proved slightly more positive with a growth of 12 per cent. The company sold 1.83 lakh units overseas last month as compared to the 1.63 lakh number it recorded in the corresponding month in 2020.
In other news, Bajaj has been spotted testing the Pulsar 250 which is expected to hit showroom floors by September 2021. It will be priced at a slight premium over the Pulsar NS200 and is expected to come powered by an air/oil-cooled engine rather than a liquid-cooled motor like the KTM 250 Duke.
