Bajaj Auto will launch two Discover motorcycles in India within eight months. These will be the last two models from a total of six Discover models that the company had announced to launch this fiscal year.
The company recently launched the Discover 100 M at Rs 44,754 (ex-showroom Maharashtra). The company is expecting this particular model to generate volumes that will help them take on the Hero MotoCorp Splendor. In the 100cc segment, the Pune- based manufacturer had a presence in the entry- level segment with the Discover 100 4G and in the top end with the Discover 100T. The Discover 100 M will bridge the gap between these two segments that accounts for over 45 per cent of the overall market share.
The company hasn’t disclosed any information on the two Discover models but we are expecting that one of motorcycles will be a 150cc and the other one to be the affordable 100cc Discover.
