Looks like Bajaj is applying the same strategy to Avenger like it did to Discover by creating more products under one brand name. If certain rumours are to be believed, then the Pune-based manufacturer will launch the Avenger 150 in the Indian market soon.
Bajaj is gearing up to launch three versions of the Avenger. While we have already seen the pictures of the two versions which get lot of cosmetic updates, the third version is yet to be seen. The new 220cc bike gets an all black theme which reminds us of the Harley-Davidson Street 750. On the other hand, the second model gets the chrome treatment and doesn’t really look different from the current model.
The Avenger 150, if priced correctly, might help Bajaj gain some really good sales as there is no cruiser in that segment. However, there are lot of customers who would want to opt for a 150cc cruiser. Bajaj might target this bike at urban consumers who are looking for more than just a commuter bike to commute to office.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more information on the new Bajaj Avengers.
