Bajaj has increased the price of the Avenger Street 160 BS6 in India by Rs 1,000.
The motorcycle now costs Rs 95,891 (ex-showroom). This is the second time that the Pune-based manufacturer has hiked the price of the Avenger Street 160. It was launched in April with a priced at Rs 93,677 and received its first hike in May pushing the cost of the motorcycle to Rs 94,893. Nevertheless, the Bajaj Avenger Street 160 continues to be the most affordable cruiser in India, undercutting its rival the Suzuki Intruder by Rs 26,250.
However, the price hikes haven’t resulted in any change or addition to the Avenger Street 160. It gets a blacked-out city-cruiser styling and is powered by a 160cc, air-cooled and fuel-injected engine that produces 14.8bhp and 13.7Nm. The motor is paired to a five-speed gearbox. Apart from the Avenger 160, Bajaj has also hiked the prices of its other models including the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 200NS, Pulsar 180F as well as CT 100, CT 110, and the Platina 100.
