- Available in two paint schemes
- Powered by a 220cc single-cylinder motor
- Retains the design and hardware from the 2022 model
Bajaj has re-launched its largest cruiser offering, the Avenger 220 Street in India. It has retained most of the bits from the 2022 model, and here’s what we know about the 2023 Avenger Street 220.
Bajaj has carried over the Avenger Street 220’s design, and thus, the 2023 version gets the same circle-like headlight topped by a small visor and flanked by bulb-turn indicators. Even the teardrop-shaped fuel tank, scooped single-piece seat, and the single-piece grab-rail remain unaltered. Bajaj is offering the 2023 Avenger 220 Street in two colour options – Ebony Black and Spicy Red. Powering the latest Bajaj Avenger 220 model is a 220cc single-cylinder oil-cooled motor that dishes out 18.76bhp and 17.55Nm. The engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
The 2023 Bajaj Avenger 220 Street has features like a fully digital console with readouts such as a speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel level readout, clock, and more. Even the hardware on the Bajaj cruiser is quite simple as it gets telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks. On the braking front, it uses a single front disc and a rear drum brake setup. The Avenger 220 rides on a 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wheel wrapped in 90/90 front and 170/90 rear tyres.
Bajaj offers the Avenger 220 in another variant called the ‘Cruise’. It comes with a large visor up front, cushioned backrest, and spoke wheels, too. The asking price for the Bajaj Avenger 220 Street and Cruise is the same – Rs. 1,43,373 (ex-showroom, Delhi). There are no direct rivals to the Bajaj Avenger line-up.
