Bajaj Auto has increased the price of the Avenger Cruise 220 BS6 in India by Rs 1,000.
The motorcycle is now priced at Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). It is the second time Bajaj has hiked the price of the Avenger Cruise 220 BS6 since its launch in early April at Rs 1.16 lakh. The manufacturer then increased the cost to 1.19 lakh in May. However, the cruiser-styled motorcycle doesn’t get any changes to its features or bodywork despite the price hike.
The Avenger Cruise 220 continues to be adorned with chrome components, a large windscreen, long wheelbase, and a relaxed riding position. It is powered by a fuel-injected 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor that produces 18.7bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 17.5Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
Along with the Cruise 220, Bajaj has also increased the price of the smaller Avenger Street 160 in the country recently.
