Bajaj Motorcycles has finally launched the new Avenger Street motorcycle. The Pune-based manufacturer will be selling the Avenger Street in India in two variants – the Street 220 and the Street 150. While the company used to sell the Avenger 220 previously, it introduced a 150cc version to cater to a wider audience base.
The Avenger Street 220 and the Street 150 gets an all-black treatment. While the Avenger Street 220 is dipped in matt black, the Avenger Street 150 gets a gloss black paint treatment.
Just like the rest of the bike, the exhaust also gets an all-black treatment which genuinely looks good. To complement this design, there is a silver finish heat shield.
While the fuel tank looks quite similar to the one of the outgoing versions, the new Avenger logo and the golden and red decals makes the tank area look quite stylish.
Bajaj has equipped the Avenger Street 220 and the Avenger 150 with rubber bellows on the front suspension forks. They claim that this has been done to complete the full black look of the bike.
Cosmetically, the Avenger Street 220 and the Avenger Street 150 look similar. They can be differentiated through the colour schemes and the presence of the bigger front brake disc on the Avenger Street 220.
The digital display is a welcome addition on the Avenger Street 150. Being the only cruiser in the 150cc segment, such feature makes the bike a value for money proposition.
