The Bajaj Boxer 150 had a decent amount fan following in India but lack of good sales made Bajaj take it off the market. It has another version – the Boxer X150 – which is sold in other countries especially in Africa and recently this bike was spotted under test near Pune.
The Boxer X150 gets aesthetic bits that is more off-road oriented. It gets a raised front mudguard, and wider tyres. It also gets alloy wheels whereas the standard version of the Boxer gets spoke rims. Powering this workhorse is a 145cc single-cylinder engine that produces 12bhp and 12.26Nm of maximum torque. Gearbox is four-speed.
Bajaj might be updating the Boxer X150 for the international markets. Talking about the India launch, Bajaj hasn’t mentioned about relaunching the Boxer in the country, but it is Bajaj, they are known to relaunch discontinued products. So we won’t be surprised if the Boxer makes its way to the market again and if it does, it will sit between the Platina 100 and the Discover 125.
