The Bajaj Chetak 3501 is the company’s new electric scooter and is their flagship product. It boasts the biggest battery and the most features of any Chetak yet. Here are its details in images.
The design of the Chetak 3501 is similar to the other Chetak’s but it gets new colours and graphics. These colours give the electric scooter a premium appearance.
The Chetak 3501 is based on a new platform with a new electric motor and controller unit and gets a floorboard-mounted battery pack.
The new chassis is longer and so is the wheelbase and length of the scooter. This has translated to a roomier floorboard area and more spacious seats.
The underseat storage area has gone up to 35-litres, the largest in a Chetak.
The EV is powered by a 4kW permanent magnet synchronous motor paired with a bigger 3.5kWh battery pack that offers a range of 153km.
It gets a five-inch TFT touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity, integrated maps, SMS and call notifications, Geo-fencing, OTA updates.
