- Bajaj Pulsar N250 and F250 deliveries begin
- First unit was delivered on 15 November in Pune
- Official launch took place late last month
Bajaj Auto has announced that it has commenced the deliveries of its newest and biggest Pulsar 250 siblings. The first unit of the motorcycle was delivered to the customer on 15 November in Pune. The Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250 were launched in India last month with prices standing at Rs 1.38 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh, respectively.
The Pulsar 250 twins are all-new motorcycles and don’t retain anything from the existing members of this family. While there is some design ethos of the Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar 220F, the 250s look fresh and more modern. Both bikes come equipped with a full-LED lighting setup and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Moreover, there’s a USB charger, a slipper clutch, and a single-channel ABS setup.
Both bikes are powered by an identical 249.07cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 24.1bhp of power at 8,750rpm and 21.5Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a five-speed gearbox. They are based on a tubular chassis with the engine as the stressed member. Riding on 17-inch wheels, the Pulsar 250s are suspended by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by a single disc at both ends.
The Bajaj Pulsar F250 and N250 are available in two colour options – Techno Grey and Racing Red. While the naked N trim goes up against the Yamaha FZ25 and Suzuki Gixxer 250, the semi-faired variant competes against the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
