Bajaj Motorcycle has finally confirmed that they are currently working on giving the Pulsar 150 a facelift. The facelift will include cosmetic changes and also few upgrades that will improve its rideability as well. Just few days ago we got you the picture of the new Pulsar 150 that was spied testing in Lonavala, this is expected to replace the current Pulsar 150.
The new Pulsar 150 might be called the NS150 as it carries the design cues from their most successful model, the Pulsar NS200. Plus, the Pune- based manufacturer has started naming their bikes as per its body style. The bike, which was spied was sporting a 100/90 section Eurogrip rear tyre, is the same one that is used in the current Pulsar 150. The pillion foot rest seen on this spied bike looks very similar to the ones on the Pulsar 135LS. The Pune-based manufacturer is taking the parts sharing approach as it will help them keep costs in check that will directly result into a good pricing at launch.
The Pulsar 150 facelift was long overdue from the company. Its old boring design needed some refreshment for it to stay in competition with the Yamaha FZ-16 and the Honda CB-Trigger. We can expect Bajaj to launch this bike sometime in the monsoon with a marginal increase in the price.
