Bajaj Auto has hinted that its next launch will be a bigger motorcycle than anything it is currently offering. This could mean that the company is planning to introduce the Pulsar CS400, which was revealed at the 2014 Auto Expo.
Eric Vas, President, Bajaj Auto said, "The next motorcycle will be a big bike, bigger than anything currently on offer from Bajaj."
The Pulsar CS400 is powered by a 373.4cc single-cylinder engine that also powers the KTM Duke 390. However, this engine will be re-worked to deliver better torque figures. While Bajaj has released no details on the engine specifications, we expect this newly developed engine to feature fuel injection and produce at least 40bhp. The aggressively styled CS400 will likely come with upside-down forks, side mounted exhaust and an all-digital instrumentation.
The Pulsar CS400 will be what the NS200 was to the Duke 200, which means it will certainly be priced lower than the Duke 390.
