Bajaj has launched an updated version of its entry-level commuter motorcycle, the CT100. The bike, priced at Rs 38,806 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra) now gets an electric start along with new decals and a new fuel gauge.
The new CT100 Electric Start is a top-of-the-line variant and is priced at a premium of Rs 2000 from the non-electric start variant. The bike will sell alongside the kick-start versions of CT100 Alloy and CT100 B. The CT 100 Alloy retails for Rs 36,521 while the CT100 B is priced at Rs 32,068 (both prices ex-showroom, Mumbai). The bike sits on a double cradle frame which houses a 102cc single cylinder engine that delivers 7.6bhp and 8.24Nm of torque. With three colour options- black/silver and red decals, black/silver and blue decals and red, the bike is available in dealerships across the country.
The bike competes against the TVS Sport and Hero HF Deluxe.
