Bajaj CT110 launched in India starting at Rs 37,997

- Bajaj CT110 is available in kick-start and electric start variants

- Is positioned between the CT100 and Platina 100

- Gets several aesthetic changes over the CT100

Bajaj Auto has added a new motorcycle in its commuter line-up as it officially launched the CT110 in India. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 37,997 for the kick-start variant and Rs 44,480 for the electric start model (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The CT110 is positioned between its smaller displacement sibling, the CT100 and the slightly more premium Platina 100

The motorcycle was spotted undisguised in the last week. In order to differentiate it from the standard CT100, Bajaj has added several new elements on the motorcycle. While the overall design remains the same, the CT110 gets blacked-out treatment on the engine, suspension, alloy wheels and handlebar. It also gets a new set of decals which give it a fresh appeal. For added comfort, Bajaj has added thicker cushioning on the seat while it also gets tank grips. Moreover, the CT110 features, semi-knobby tyres, bigger crash guards, fork gaiters and rubber covers for the rear-view mirror stalks.

Coming to the engine, the motorcycle is powered by a 115cc, air-cooled, DTS-i motor which does duty on the Platina 110 as well. This unit produces 8.4bhp at 7000rpm and 9.81Nm at 5,000rpm while it comes mated to a four-speed gearbox. The suspension and braking setup on the bike remains similar to the CT100. It gets telescopic forks with 125mm of travel at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear with 100mm of travel. Braking is handled by drum brakes at both ends, assisted by Anti-Skid Braking which is Bajaj’s version of combi-braking system.

Bajaj has launched the CT110 in three colour options including glass ebony black, matte olive green and glass flame red. In terms of competition, the motorcycle competes against the TVS Sport and Hero HF Deluxe in the entry-level commuter segment.
