- Looks similar to the CT110X
- Powered by a 124.4cc air-cooled mill
- Available in three colours
Bajaj has launched the most affordable 125cc bike in India, the CT125X. It’s priced at Rs 71,354 (ex-showroom Delhi) and available in three paint schemes: Green and Black, Red and Black as well as Blue and Black.
The Bajaj CT125X looks similar to the CT110X. It gets a round headlight with bulb illumination. Above it is a small cowl with an LED strip integrated within. The bodywork is minimal and purposeful like a proper commuter should have. It gets a headlight guard, engine crash guard as well as a luggage rack at the rear.
Powering the most affordable 125cc bike is a single-cylinder 125cc air-cooled motor with the output rated at 10bhp and 11Nm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The CT125X rides on conventional telescopic forks and dual gas-charged rear springs. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a 240mm front disc and an optional 130mm front drum with a 130mm rear drum. It rides on 17-inch alloys wrapped in 80/100 front and 100/90 rear tyres.
In its segment, the Bajaj CT125X rivals the Hero Super Splendor and the Honda Shine. But if you want more 125cc options, have a look at the TVS Raider, Bajaj Pulsar 125 and the Pulsar NS125.
