Bajaj Auto has launched their 100T commuter motorcycle in Nepal. The motorcycle will be imported in the country via complete-built-unit (CBU) route and will be sold at 1.56 lakh Nepali rupees (Rs 97264).
Bajaj had always planned to export the Discover 100T to international market. With the Nepal launch, the company has taken the first step in this regard and will soon export it to Indonesia and South Africa. The company already exports the Pulsar and other variants of the Discover to markets like South Africa, Indonesia and Latin America.
The Discover 100T produces 10.2bhp and 9.2Nm of torque, which the company claims is 30 per cent more than its rivals. Bajaj also claims that the bike has a fuel efficiency of 87km per litre. With the new product, Bajaj is trying to offer the power of a 125cc motorcycle with efficiency of 100cc. The Discover 100T competes with the Hero Passion Pro and the Honda Dream Yuga in the A3 segment.
