The Discover 150F, the semi-faired version of the Discover 150, has been officially launched by Bajaj today, at an event in Mumbai. The bike costs Rs 58,739 (ex-showroom Pune) and will be available at all Bajaj dealerships.
The Discover 150F gets majority of the styling cues from its smaller sibling - the Discover 150S. However, the motorcycle has an entirely new identity, thanks to the newly designed semi-fairing. The bike looks slightly bigger than its siblings due to the addition of the fairing. Apart from the fairing, all the other parts are borrowed from the Discover 125ST. In order to give a rider an upright and comfortable ride, the handle bar has been raised with forward-set foot pegs.
The Bajaj Discover 150F is also powered by a new 150cc four-valve DTS-i engine that produces 14bhp of power. This is the same mill seen on the Discover 150S and comes mated to a five-sequential transmission.
The new Discover 150F is now on sale at all Bajaj dealerships. Bajaj has added it to the range of Discovers slotting it as the most premium Discover available. Though placed below the Pulsar 150, the motorcycle will mainly rival the Hero Stunner from the semi-faired bike segment and other 150cc motorcycles like the Yamaha Fazer.
