Bajaj will launch the Discover 150S, tomorrow, adding it to the Discover series of motorcycles. Though Bajaj has dispatched the initial lot to the dealerships earlier and bookings have started, the company will officially launch the motorcycle tomorrow at an event in Pune.
The new Discover 150S sports new stickers to set it apart from the current range of Discovers. Coming to the features, the rear mono shock absorber, front and rear mudguards, seat, tank, grab rail, alloy wheels and even instrument console is borrowed from the Discover 125ST
Though the motorcycle is based on the Discover 125ST platform, it borrows styling traits from the upcoming semi-faired commuter 150F Discover. Overall, the Discover 150S might look similar to the current Discovers but it adopts an all-black look for the side step, chain guard and the grab rail.
The Bajaj Discover 150S will be powered by a new 150cc four-valve DTS-i mill that might churn out 14bhp of power. This engine will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
The Discover 150S will be slotted below the Pulsar 150 and will rival the Hero Achiever and the Yamaha SZ in the 150cc commuter bike segment.
