Just last week Bajaj Motorcycles launched the new Discover 125, its fourth and the last Discover bike were to launch this current financial year. And we imagined, the Pune-based manufacturer will take a break. But looks like, the company is not going to stop adding new bikes in their range. A new bike which is rumoured to be called the Discover F150 has been spied testing.
This spied motorcycle is expected to be the flagship Discover model and can be the most expensive Discover model as well. The bike sports a semi fairing, the ones seen on the Honda Stunner and the Hero Ignitor, making us believe Bajaj is targeting these two bikes in India.
As the name suggest, the Discover F150 will be powered by a new 150cc DTS-i engine. If you look at the spied bike, there are number of parts that look similar to the ones in Discover 125ST. The alloy wheels, exhaust, seat, rear mono suspension, fuel tank, rear view mirrors, grab rail and the kick starter are all identical to the Discover 125ST. Bajaj is following the parts sharing strategy for the new Discover F150 to keep costs in check.
We expect Bajaj to launch this bike sometime before the festive season and price it on par with the Honda Stunner and the Hero Ignitor.
