Bajaj Auto has reported a 69 per cent decline in sales after it sold a total of 1,12,798 two-wheelers in May 2020.
Out of the total number, Bajaj sold 39,286 two-wheelers in the Indian market; a slump of 81 per cent as compared to the 2.05 lakh units sold in May 2019. Meanwhile, exports registered a 54 per cent decline with 73,512 two-wheelers sold overseas last month as against the 1.59 lakh units sold in the same period in 2019.
In other news, Bajaj recently updated the Pulsar 150 Neon with an underbelly cowl. Moreover, the manufacturer also registered the Chetak trademark in Europe suggesting that the electric scooter will be launched there soon.
