- Dominar 250 launched in new colours
- Priced at Rs 1.54 lakh
- Single-tone colours will continue to sell
Bajaj Auto has just introduced three new dual-tone paint schemes for its quarter-litre motorcycle - the Dominar 250. These new paint schemes have been priced at Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Bajaj Dominar 250 will now be available in red and silver, citrus rush and silver and black and silver. The company believes that with the introduction of these new paint schemes, the sales of the Dominar 250 will grow as the bike looks more aspirational. Interestingly, the Pune-based manufacturer has decided to offer these new paint schemes at a reduced price.
There are no changes mechanically. The bike continues to be powered by a 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that’s good for 26.6bhp at 8,500rpm and 23.5Nm at 6,500rpm. The six-speed gearbox features a slipper clutch system. Other features include full-LED lighting, a digital console, and a 13-litre fuel tank. The Dominar 250 goes against the Yamaha FZ25 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250 when it comes to displacement and product positioning.
