- Bajaj Dominar 250 to be launched in new colours
- Pictures leaked on the internet
- Likely to be launched around the upcoming festive season
Bajaj is all set to jazz up the colour palette of its quarter-litre offering, the Dominar 250, in India soon. The pictures of the upcoming colour schemes have been leaked on the internet and they undoubtedly look pretty swanky.
The leaked pictures show a set of three dual-tone paint schemes including Citrus Rush and Matt Silver, Sparkling Black and Matt Silver, and Racing Red and Matt Silver. These are likely to replace the existing pair of colours comprising Canyon Red and Vine Black that look quite understated.
After increasing the prices of the Dominar 250 twice earlier this year, Bajaj shook everyone last month by slashing the price of the motorcycle by as much as Rs 16,800. Resultantly, the Dominar 250 now costs Rs 1,54,176 (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the introduction of new colours, it might get a bit more expensive now. The official launch of these paint schemes is likely to take place around the upcoming festive season.
The cosmetic change is unlikely to bring along any mechanical alterations. The Dominar 250 boasts a power cruiser stance identical to the larger Dominar 400. The most notable difference is obviously in the engine as the former is propelled by a 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that’s good for 26.6bhp at 8,500rpm and 23.5Nm at 6,500rpm. The six-speed gearbox features a slipper clutch system. Other features include full-LED lighting, a digital console, and a 13-litre fuel tank.
