- Bajaj Dominar 250 available in two colours
- Priced at Rs 1.60 lakhs
- Deliveries to commence soon across India
Bajaj recently launched the Dominar 250 in India with a price tag of Rs 1.60 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The manufacturer is offering the motorcycle in a choice of two colour options.
There is the gloss red paint scheme which Bajaj calls ‘Canyon Red’. It also gets a ‘Vine Black’ paint which comprises of matte black. Both these colours feature on the front fender, upper side of the tank and on the tail section and as highlights on the headlamp and engine cowl. The rest of the Dominar 250’s components have a blacked-out finish.
In terms of styling, the Dominar 250 borrows its muscular design from its bigger sibling, the Dominar 400. It gets the same full-LED headlamp, distinctive tank and tail lamp design as well as dual-outlet exhaust canister. Nevertheless, the badging as well as the skinner 130/70 tyre at the rear gives it away. Powering the motorcycle is a 248cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine borrowed from the KTM 250 Duke. The motor on the Dominar 250 puts out 26.6bhp of power and 23.5Nm of torque.
Bookings for the motorcycle have already begun and deliveries will take place across India in the next couple of weeks. In terms of competition, the Bajaj Dominar 250 takes on the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Yamaha FZ25 in the country.
